Mads Østberg returns to Hungary

The driver revealed that he will once again line up in Hungary at the wheel of a Citroën C3 Rally2. The Norwegian, however, has not revealed anything regarding a possible WRC program.

Mads Østberg returns to Hungary

His presence at the start of the little-known Hungarian championship last year was a surprise. The 2 WRC2020 winner had competed in 5 of the 7 rallies on the calendar, recording 3 victories. Finally 3e At the end of the season, Østberg will have arguments to aim for the title this year. He will once again drive a Citroën C3 Rally2 from the Tagai Racing Technology team which he will share with his new Swedish co-driver Patrick Barth. The competition which includes 8 meetings will kick off during the Salgo Rally (March 24-26) which will offer 104,10 km timed on asphalt. The Norwegian will then fly to Mexico to compete in the Rally of Nations Guanajuato (April 1-3). If he has not yet revealed how he intends to make his return to the World Cup, the 35-year-old driver has already announced that he will be leaving for Croatia (April 20-24).
