Malcolm Wilson: “Proud of what we have accomplished with Sébastien”

Fans of WRC se souviennent de cette séquence où Malcolm Wilson annonçait en fin de saison 2016 l’arrivée dans les rangs de M-Sport de Sébastien Ogier as of 2017.

The Frenchman, who joined the British team after his victorious series with Volkswagen, managed to bring the world crowns back to the Dovenby Hall clan in this first season, marked by the change in technical regulations.

A date which will remain engraved in the memory of the former pilot. “I would like to thank Sébastien and Julien for everything they have done for the team over the last two years, says Wilson.

Their professionalism, attention to detail, determination and top speed are things to admire and we are all sorry to see them go.

I am extremely proud of everything we have accomplished together and I think everyone will remember their time with the team for a long time.

We wish them good luck for the next and final chapter of their careers, but there are still three events to go this year and the whole team will continue to give 110% in the defense of our championship titles. »

We know we have a very strong package with the Ford Fiesta and all our efforts are focused on the remaining three rallies as we try to replicate the success of 2017.

We will work with our long-term rally partners on the 2019 line-up and I am confident that we will have a very strong package to continue to achieve the success we are aiming for in all the motorsport disciplines we compete in around the world. . »
