Markko Märtin tests the Focus RS WRC

Former Ford driver, Markko Märtin got back behind the wheel of a Focus RS WRC yesterday and today during testing for the vice-World Champion team in Sardinia.

Winner of five world events with Ford in 2003 and 2004 before leaving for Peugeot then at Subaru as a test driver, Markko Märtin took part in testing the Ford Focus RS WRC before Rally from Sardinia.

The Estonian was able to ride yesterday, Thursday, and part of this Friday. “To ensure we benefit from the full efficiency of the Focus RS WRC, we invited Markko to work with Mikko Hirvonen and Jari-Matti Latvala during our testing,” explains Malcolm Wilson. “We benefited from his expertise and talents.
