Martin Prokop and his Ford on the way to 2014

Prokop confirmed its presence in the World Rally Championship from Rally Monte-Carlo 2014. The Czech will be on board a Ford Fiesta RS WRC of the Jipocar ​​Czech National Team.

Martin Prokop, the 2009 Junior WRC champion, will thus complete his third full season in the world championship and hopes to improve on his ninth place in the general classification obtained in 2013.

“Although the competition will once again be fierce, we are confident in repeating the results obtained this season and finishing in the top 10 once again, declared the 31-year-old pilot. In the last three events of the season we reduced the gap with the leaders and I think that if we start 2014 on this basis we should make our fans happy. »

The Czech driver, who will participate in all rounds of the year with the exception of Australia in September, will even be able to count on the help of a teammate during at least six events as confirmed by Quirin Müller, the team manager of the team.
