Meeke maintains a good advantage in Mexico

At the end of the three super special stages contested at the end of the second stage of the Rally from Mexico, Kris Meeke (Citroën) maintained a lead of half a minute by conceding only 6s to Sébastien Ogier (M-Sport). Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) reste bien accroché à la 3e place en disposant de plus d’une minute d’avance sur Ott Tänak (M-Sport). L’Estonien possède une avance similaire face à Hayden Paddon (Hyundai) qui précède les Toyota de Jari-Matti Latvala et Juho Hänninen, le leader du Championnat ayant repris son coéquipier avec 3 dixièmes d’avance. Dani Sordo (Hyundai) accuse encore 43s sur les Toyota.

Pontus Tidemand (Skoda) regained the advantage over Éric Camilli (Ford) in the fight for victory in WRC 2. The Frenchman is only 2 seconds behind the Swede who completes the top ten in the general classification.

The crews will compete over 54,9km timed spread over two special stages, the last serving as a Power Stage.
