Michel Nandan reacts to Volkswagen's announcement

The 2017 championship, eagerly awaited with the arrival of news WRC, will therefore compete without Volkswagen Motorsport, who announced the end of his program at the highest level of rally world at the end of the 2016 season.

“All of us at Hyundai Motorsport are saddened to hear the news that Volkswagen Motorsport will be leaving the WRC at the end of the season, comments the manager of the team based in Alzenau.

They have been our rivals and, as a new team coming into the sport, a real source of inspiration. We've grown by raising our level to try to match theirs over the past three seasons, and we couldn't wait to compete against them in 2017 with the new cars. Their impressive accomplishments in recent seasons will continue to motivate us. »
