Mikkelsen takes advantage of Ogier and Paddon's mistakes

Andreas Mikkelsen is on his way to a first victory in the Rally of Australia while his Volkswagen team competes in its last event in WRC. With three stages to go, the Norwegian finds himself with a lead of 22'2 over his teammate Sébastien Ogier.

The four-time world champion made a mistake in SS20 when he had a few tenths ahead of the leader of the event. A spin caused him to lose 20 seconds against his rival.

The Belgian finds himself on the provisional podium with 14 seconds ahead of the Spaniard and 15 seconds over the New Zealander.

After taking the advantage over Dani Sordo in SS19, Mads Ostberg (Ford) dropped back to 6th place in front of his teammate Éric Camilli.

Esapekka Lappi (Skoda Fabia R5) completes the top ten behind Ott Tänak (Ford) and Lorenzo Bertelli (Ford) continuing to dominate WRC 2 with the title in their sights.
