MINI remains focused on Sardinia

The MINI John Cooper Works World Rally Car will be officially launched in the United Kingdom this Monday, April 11 at the Mini factory in Oxford. But the whole team remains focused on preparing for the Rally of Sardinia, a meeting eagerly awaited by fans from all over the world. “The launch will obviously be one of the big moments, but for my part, I'm just focusing on the first rally, underlines Kris Meeke. In the end, this is the most important thing because it is the fruit of the hard work of the engineers, mechanics and drivers since the start of the project last year. »

After the official launch, Kris Meeke and Dani Sordi will take part in two additional testing sessions in Spain and Wales. The first public appearance of the MINI on specification WRC will take place at the Sardinia Rally from May 5 to 8, 2011. In the meantime, we will see a Mini again at the Jordan rally. Just like in Portugal, the Brazilian Daniel Oliveira will start with the Super 2000 version.
