Monte-Carlo: the entry list revealed
The entry list for the 87th edition of the Rally Monte-Carlo played from January 24 to 27 has been revealed.
Unsurprisingly, victory will be decided between 11 crews WRC. Citroën will field the six-time champion Sébastien Ogier and Esapekka Lappi. Toyota Gazoo Racing sera représenté par Ott Tänak, Jari-Matti Latvala et Kris Meeke. M-Sport engagera Elfyn Evans, Teemu Suninen et Pontus Tidemand. Quant à Hyundai, in addition to Thierry Neuville and Andreas Mikkelsen, the Korean brand will have the privilege of counting Sébastien Loeb in its ranks.
WRC 2 will have around ten participants but only three crews registered in WRC 2 Pro: Gus Greensmith (Ford), Yoann Bonato (Citroën) and Ole Christian Veiby (Volkswagen). Adrien fourmaux (Ford) will notably face the Belgian Guillaume de Mevius. The R5 category will be completed by numerous private individuals including Hervé “Knapick” Lemmonier (DS 3), Stéphane Sarrazin (Hyundai), Jean-Michel Raoux (Skoda), as well as the Japanese Takamoto katsuta (Ford) supported by Toyota.
