Neuville angry with Nicolas Gilsoul

Thierry Neuville managed to consistently take the advantage over Dani Sordo to reach fourth position with less than 19 seconds behind third place currently occupied by Mikko Hirvonen. But the Citroën Junior Team crew received a 20-second penalty for clocking in two minutes late. The Belgian lost two positions against Mads Ostberg and the Spaniard.

The driver of the French team did not hide his frustration and got angry with his co-driver Nicolas Gilsoul. “We fight (for a podium) with the best and then we stupidly lose twenty seconds because of an error from the co-driver”, commented Thierry Neuville to the mid-stage audience, comments reported by RTBF. " I am angry. Honestly, I'm fed up. In terms of piloting, this rally is going very well, even if I was sometimes too careful. But if we stupidly waste time, it’s not possible. What happened ? Go ask him. »
