Le Rally of Türkiye 2019 opened this Thursday evening with a short 2 km super-special, with a best time shared between teammates of Hyundai Motorsport : Thierry Neuville and Andreas Mikkelsen.
The Belgian and the Norwegian completed the urban course in 2'02″6, 1″6 ahead of Pontus Tidemand (M-Sport Ford). Sébastien Ogier places the first Citroën C3 WRC in 4th position at 1″7, and precedes the first Toyota Yaris by Kris Meeke, author of the time reference this morning to the shakedown.
Followed by Esapekka Lappi (Citroën) and the championship leader Ott Tänak (Toyota). Kalle Rovenperä, dominator in WRC 2 Pro in 2'06″9, hoists his Skoda Fabia R5 Evo ahead of the WRCs of Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota), Dani Sordo (Hyundai) and Teemu Suninen (M-Sport Ford).
