Neuville the fastest in the Rally of Türkiye Shakedown
Contested under typical conditions Rally de Turquie (soleil éclatant), le Shakedown de l’édition 2020 a permis à Hyundai de se rassurer. En effet, Thierry Neuville set the best time with a two-tenths margin over his outgoing world champion teammate, Ott Tänak.
Le vainqueur du Rallye d’Estonie voici deux semaines devance l’armada du Toyota Gazoo Racing avec le rookie Kalle Rovanperä, Elfyn Evans et Sébastien Ogier. For his return in the Hyundai i20 WRC after Monte-Carlo last January, Sébastien Loeb settles for the sixth mark.
Le shakedown a été interrompu après la bourde de Gus Greensmith, qui a sorti sa Ford Fiesta WRC en contrebas de la piste durant son troisième passage. D’ailleurs, l’équipe M-Sport Ford n’a pas semblé dans le coup, à moins que Teemu Suninen et Esapekka Lappi ne cachent leur jeu.

The latter also finished behind Corsican debutant Pierre-Louis Loubet (Hyundai).
In WRC2, the best time went to Eyvind Brynildsen (Skoda). The first stage of the 2020 Rally Turkey will begin at 16:08 p.m. with the 13,90 km Içmeler stage
