  • Hyundai remporte (enfin !) une victoire en 2023 ! L’écurie sud-coréenne s’est imposée sur le Rally from Sardinia thanks to Thierry Neuville, who therefore signs his first success of the year, the first since the Rally of Japan in November 2022. The Belgian finally confirms, he who missed the victory in Croatia while he was leader of the event, last April .
  • Hyundai even scored a double since Esapekka Lappi finished 2nd in the Sardinia Rally, without competing with Thierry Neuville on this last day of the rally. This is the Finn's third consecutive podium, after his two 3rd places in Croatia and Portugal.
  • Toyota sauve l’honneur avec la 3e place de Kalle Rovanperä malgré un rallye très compliqué pour la formation japonaise, qui a vu Takamoto Katsuta mais surtout Sébastien Ogier drop out on Saturday. Kalle Rovanperä still won all 5 points in the Power Stage. Elfyn Evans, never in the running this weekend, finished in 4th place.
  • Dani Sordo, 5th overall this Sunday morning, had to retire before the start of the penultimate special due to an exhaust problem.
  • In the championship, Kalle Rovanperä remains comfortably in the lead with 118 points, 25 more than the winner of the day, Thierry Neuville. Ott Tänak is now relegated to 33 points behind the reigning champion. Sébastien Ogier, who collected a point in the Power Stage, is 5th in the championship with 70 points.
  • Andreas Mikkelsen won in WRC2 thanks to the fatal track exit ofAdrien fourmaux in the Power Stage! The Frenchman, who was comfortably leading the category at the start of the last special, went wide in a fast corner and hit a rock on the outside. Thanks to this retirement, Yohan Rossel moved up to 4th place in WRC2, with the 3 points from the Power Stage as a bonus.
