Neuville alone in the lead in Argentina

Thierry Neuville can reasonably aim for victory in Rally d’Argentine.

The Norwegian took second place during the penultimate special of the day which saw Ott Tänak (Toyota) abandonner sur problème mécanique alors que l’Estonien mettait le leader sous pression.

Kris Meeke (Toyota) completes the provisional podium, but the Northern Irishman saw Sébastien Ogier (Citroën) quickly return to your rearview mirror. After falling in the standings in the first pass following power steering problems, the six-time WRC champion scored two stage wins to come back to within 3 seconds of the leading Toyota. The Frenchman remains threatened by Dani Sordo (Hyundai) who is 6 seconds behind. The Toyota driver finally received a ten second penalty pushing him back behind the French and the Spaniard.

The crews will still have to face 3 special stages this Sunday. The day should start at 14:08 p.m. with the 16,43km Copina – El Condor. The event can be followed live with our live text.
