Ocon present at the Monte-Carlo Rally

No, you're not dreaming, Esteban Ocon will take part in Rally Monte-Carlo, first round of the World Rally Championship (WRC) 2021 this Thursday, January 21! Okay, the French driver is not really involved in the competition; it will serve as VIP opener car.

The pilot Alpine F1 Team will have the task of taking a Alpine A110S on first two specials of the event: SS1 (Saint-Disdier-Corps, 20,58 km) and SS2 (Saint-Maurice-Saint-Bonnet), 70 minutes before the WRC comrades.

“It’s a fantastic opportunity and I’m really looking forward to my first experience at the Monte-Carlo Rally,” rejoices the 24-year-old from Normandy. It’s a legendary event, a jewel in the motorsport calendar and I know how special it will be to be a part of.

I can't wait to ride theAlpine A110S. I discovered theAlpine A110 last October during three laps on the Nordschleife. This day is unforgettable with a very comfortable and agile car.

She was born for this type of challenge made up of tight hairpins and mountain passes. Rallying has always been part of my dreams, so driving theAlpine A110S at Monte-Carlo is perfect to start the year. »
