Ogier in the lead at Rally Mexico

If he only scored one scratch in the morning of the first stage, Sébastien Ogier (Toyota) showed great consistency to lead the event with around ten seconds ahead of Teemu Suninen (M-Sport) at the end of the 4 SS contested.

Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) completes the top three in the wheels of the first Ford Fiesta WRC, but the start of the day was not easy for the Korean manufacturer's crews. Well off to an impressive time on the first course of the day, Ott Tänak lost more than 40 seconds following mechanical problems. His teammate Dani Sordo, who had a very advantageous position on the road, suffered problems with his radiator and had to give up several minutes.

Esapekka Lappi (M-Sport) is well placed with just over 3 seconds behind on the provisional podium. The Finn precedes the Toyotas of Elfyn Evans and Kalle Rovanperä. Gus Greensmith (M-Sport) moves to 7th place, taking advantage of Ott Tänak's troubles, only 8th, more than half a minute from the lead of the race.

In WRC 2, Pontus Tidemand (Skoda) leads the category with more than ten seconds ahead of Nikolay Gryazin (Hyundai). Ole Christian Veiby (Hyundai) follows several minutes behind.

Find the report of the second passage of the second stage of the Rally from Mexico tomorrow morning.
