Sébastien Loeb (Citroen C4 WRC) follows the racing pattern he likes during gravel rallies. Slower on Friday due to the sweep suffered by the opening driver, he took advantage of his further back position on Saturday to catch up. This is what he is doing this weekend in Portugal. During the three stages of Saturday morning, the six-time World Champion made up 22 of the 45 seconds he was behind Sébastien Ogier (Citroën C4 WRC), which remains leader at midday.
« I'm trying to get back to Seb (Ogier), confides Sébastien Loeb. But I didn't drive very well in this special stage (SS10), I don't really know why, even if I made a small mistake. But I remain confident. I have to attack, be at the limit. We continue like this and we will see, I do everything I can. » There remains a loop of three special stages to be contested in the afternoon, before the last round scheduled for Sunday. Everything remains open.
