Ogier: M-Sport or nothing in 2018

His fifth world title in his pocket since the evening of Rally from Great Britain, Sébastien Ogier could continue its discussions in view of the 2018 World Rally Championship season.

The Frenchman was seriously courted by Citroën Racing, Yves Matton, director of the sporting program of the chevron brand, having made no secret that the French driver was his priority for the next world campaign.

But, as the boss of Citroën Racing told us, the “requested means” do not seem to have been brought together, and discussions have stopped for around ten days with the Gapençais. Yves Matton also specified that the official announcement of his team's crews would take place in several days.

Track M-Sport enhanced

Sébastien Ogier admits know “99% of what he wants to do, and if I stay in WRC in 2018, it will be with M-Sport. » The French world champion could therefore find a new agreement with Malcolm Wilson's team and thus defend his coronation in a Ford from the Monte-Carlo Rally next January.
