Ogier takes the lead in the Acropolis Rally

Sébastien Ogier has overtaken Petter Solberg to take the lead in the Acropolis Rally. The privateer driver of the DS3 WRC even fell to third position, after being caught by Sébastien Loeb.

Ogier takes the lead in the Acropolis Rally

Sébastien Ogier wants to turn the page Rally from Argentina, where the Citroën driver lost the lead in the very last special. The Frenchman is now leading the Acropolis Rally, after taking a good position on the road at the end of the first day.

The Citroën driver has a lead of 15??1 over Sébastien Loeb before the last special of the stage which will take place at night. “We really attacked. We still have to push in the last one because the gap is not big enough?, warned the leader of the Acropolis Rally.

The seven-time World Champion is doing his best to stay in contact with his teammate, after gaining the upper hand from Petter Solberg, the previous rally leader, who slipped to third position after SS11. The Norwegian is now 7??5 behind the World Champion and finds himself chased by Mikko Hirvonen (Ford) who is 12??8 behind the DS3 WRC private.

The final special stage of the second stage of the Acropolis Rally, which will cover a distance of 17,71 km, will take place from 20:33 p.m.
