Ogier takes the scratch at the RACC shakedown

Sébastien Ogier (M-Sport) set the best time in the shakedown of Rally of Catalonia carried out in “earth” configuration on this mixed event. The Championship leader completed the 2,97km long test course in 2'05''2 at the end of his fourth and final pass, ahead of the Citroën C3 by three tenths. WRC by Kris Meeke. Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai) completed the leading trio seven tenths from the benchmark.

Ott Tänak (M-Sport) is the first driver more than a second behind. The Estonian is ahead of Dani Sordo (Hyundai) and Jari-Matti Latvala, first driver Toyota. Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) finished eighth between Mads Ostberg (M-Sport) and Juho Hänninen (Toyota). Stéphane Lefebvre (Citroën) finished just outside the top ten.

The Rally de Catalunya will begin this Friday from 9:53 a.m. with six special stages on the program offering 115,9km timed. The event will be followed live with our live text.
