The next generation is coming. Champion WRC At the beginning of the 2000s, Peter Solberg saw his son getting closer and closer to the premier category of rallying. At 19, Oliver will compete in the entirety of the next two WRC2 seasons with Hyundai.

In 2021, Oliver Solberg will begin the season behind the wheel of the Hyundai i20 R5 before moving aboard the Hyundai i20 N Rally2, once available mid-season. “ I look forward to driving the R5 and then the Rally2 in the upcoming WRC2 campaign. We attack this championship with the desire to win and the important responsibility of representing Hyundai in the world ».

Norwegian Ole Christian Veiby will be the second official Hyundai driver in WRC2 next year. Their 2021 season schedule will be announced at a later date.
