Oliver Solberg supported by Skoda in WRC3

After announcing his official absence from the World Rally Championship a few weeks ago, it seems that Skoda Motorsport has reversed its decision.

The Czech brand will provide support in the new format of the RC2 class, divided between WRC2 and WRC3 categories, at Oliver solberg, son of the world champion WRC 2003.

After having disputed the Rally Monte-Carlo in a Volkswagen Polo R5, the 18-year-old driver will drive a Skoda Fabia Rally2 Evo (new name for the Fabia R5), on several rounds of the WRC3 calendar, starting in Sweden in mid-February.

The Mlada Boleslav firm will provide support in the operation of the car, which Solberg was able to discover during testing. However, the Volkswagen Polo will not be stored in the garage since other events could be contested by Solberg with this car.
