Since the start of the year, Mads Ostberg has been on pace with the factory drivers. The Norwegian fights with the best, which notably allowed him to achieve his first victory in Portugal, taking advantage of the disqualification of Mikko Hirvonen. Like the Finn from the Citroën Total World Rally Team, Ostberg was at the rally Vosges last weekend in order to prepare for the Rallye de France, which will take place from October 4 to 7 around Strasbourg in Alsace.
« We attacked all the time and set excellent times, I am very happy with that, Ostberg explains. Grabbing seconds from Mikko throughout the rally really pleased me. I'm happy to see that we can attack more without making mistakes. Previously, I thought we had to go carefully. But I think I was too careful. I could have attacked more without risking any problems. We learn more day after day and I now know that I can go faster. »
