Ostberg with M-Sport Stobart Ford
The Norwegian will team up with Henning Solberg at the first event in Sweden to score constructors' points.
“Jonas is Swedish and this country is my second home,” says Mads Ostberg on the site WRC.com. ?As we have a country house here, it was in Sweden that I took part in my first event. It was also in Sweden that I won my first rally and it was at the Swedish Rally that I scored my first WRC scratch. There is no better place to start my collaboration with Ford and score points for a manufacturer. I am very happy to join M-Sport Stobart Ford World Rally Team and having Henning and Matthew as teammates. »
The new name of the British team (M-Sport passes Stobart) confirms Stobart's partial withdrawal in 2011.
Matthew Wilson will drive the team's third Fiesta RS WRC without being able to score any points in the constructors' standings.
