Ostberg and Mikkelsen will ultimately not go to Australia
The possibility of promotion in WRC for Citroën Racing representative in WRC 2 Pro Mads Ostberg on the occasion of the rally of Australia (November 14-17) was asked before the Catalonia rally. The Norwegian could be requisitioned on a third C3 WRC to help Sébastien Ogier in his defense of the world title.
Alas, Ott Tänak (Toyota) having won the coronation in Spain, the participation of Mads Ostberg no longer has any mathematical interest. The French team will therefore focus on the usual Ogier-Lappi duo.
On the side of Hyundai Motorsports, Thierry Neuville will be accompanied by Craig Breen, and only Irish. Indeed, Andreas Mikkelsen no longer appears in the new entry list published by the rally.
En WRC 2, we only count two competitors: Pierre-Louis Loubet (Skoda) who will try to take the crown and Benito Guerra (Skoda).
