Ott Tänak and M-Sport rekindle the flame in Chile

At the end of a very well-controlled rally, Ott Tänak achieved a splendid Chilean success. If this will perhaps alleviate his frustration a little, it goes well beyond his personal case. This victory is especially important for M-Sport and beyond for the WRC.

At the bottom of the hole for several months, the team M-Sport was painful to see. After his Estonian disappointments (engine broken after the shakedown for Ott Tänak who had taken a 5-minute penalty before the race) or Greek (water pump problem on the two Fords at the very start of the round), the team needed a good result to revive itself and raise the morale of the troops. As always before the start, Richard Millener believed in it.
