Ott Tänak untouchable

Ott Tänak (Ford) continued to benefit from its Dmack tires and good road position in the second stage of the Rally from Poland to increase his lead in the morning's specials, all of which he won.

Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) moved up to fourth place, 15 seconds behind the top three. The Belgian is now ahead of Jari-Matti Latvala (Volkswagen) who completes the new top five with two tenths ahead of Sébastien Ogier (Volkswagen) still penalized by its sweeper position.

The Championship leader is now threatened by his compatriot Stéphane Lefebvre (Citroën) who is less than four seconds behind the Polo R WRC. Craig Breen (Citroën) struggled to keep up with his teammate's pace and found himself almost 12 seconds behind the first DS 3 WRC.

Teemu Suninen (Skoda Fabia R5) retains the lead in WRC2 by occupying 12th place in the general classification, but the Finn is threatened by his compatriot Esapekka Lappi (Fabia R5) who is less than two seconds behind.

Rally Poland will resume from 14:50 p.m.
