Ott Tänak: Getting off to a good start

The second round of the 2015 World Rally Championship begins tomorrow on the snow-covered roads of Sweden. The Ford Fiesta RS of Elfyn Evans and Ott Tänak will return to terrain that has long favored cars at the blue oval, with six victories in the last eight editions. Despite his relative inexperience on this terrain, the Estonian is looking forward to the Scandinavian event.

“It’s definitely one of my favorite rallies in the championship, indicates the 27-year-old pilot. The ES are so fast, it's always a pleasure to drive in Sweden. Our goal is to run a clean and fast race. The conditions look really good at the moment so I hope it stays that way. I think the key is to have good practice and a good feeling before the rally. If we can be relaxed and set a good pace from the start, then it could be a good rally for us. »

The shakedown of Rally Sweden will be contested tomorrow morning before a first special event scheduled for the evening. The second round of WRC will be followed live on our website throughout the weekend.
