Everything is ready for the Rally Monte-Carlo 2023. This 91e will mark the start of the new season of the World Rally Championship. After three days of reconnaissance, the big start will be given on Thursday January 19 from 18:30 p.m. from the Place du Casino in Monte-Carlo for the legendary Turini night stage. Modified by 50% compared to that of the 2022 edition, the route will offer a very selective route through the neighboring departments of Alpes-Maritimes and Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.

As for the competition, the two big favorites for victory are Kalle Rovanperä, reigning world champion, and Sébastien Ogier, looking for a 9e victory on the spot to become the absolute record holder. Distrust all the same. Now at M-Sport, Ott Tänak arrives vengeful after leavingHyundai where things weren't going very well. On the South Korean side, hopes rest mainly on Thierry Neuville even if we are obviously counting on new recruit Esapekka Lappi and luxury freelancer Dani Sordo.
