Pierre-Louis Loubet wins WRC 2 title

The cancellation of Rally of Australia led to a premature end to the season WRC. If the coronation was played out in the WRC with Ott Tänak (Toyota) champion, le WRC 2 était encore très disputé puisque Pierre-Louis Loubet ne disposait que de 3 points d’avance sur Kajetan Kajetanowicz. Le Français décroche ainsi le titre de champion WRC 2 en compagnie de son copilote Vincent Landais.

“I am very happy for Pierre-Louis who we have been following for many years, commented the president of the FFSA Nicolas Deschaux. This season he was able to demonstrate his full potential and this world title rewards his perseverance. Furthermore, the FFSA provides its support to the Australian organizer of the canceled rally and more broadly to the population affected by this fire. »

After a season in JWRC, Pierre-Louis Loubet started last year in WRC 2. He won two category victories this year in Portugal and Sardinia as well as a 2nd place at Wales Rally GB.
