Prodrive is preparing to compete in its first full season with Mini in WRC. After competing convincingly in several rallies this season, Dani Sordo failing just 7 seconds behind Sébastien Ogier au Rally from France-Alsace, the British team continued the development of the Mini JCW WRC by carrying out four days of testing at MIRA in Great Britain, where new elements were tested. Prodrive will soon carry out further sessions at its Warwickshire track focusing on the chassis.
David Richards is confident of his team's success in 2012. “The car has some minor defects that we will correct quickly, but I have no doubt about our chances of victory. I can bet you we have the best chassis. We are a little behind in terms of engine power, but this reduction is not very significant. There are still a few small problems to resolve for next year. »
