Prodrive pays tribute to its illustrious history. The British team, responsible for the Subaru entry in the World Rally Championship during the Japanese manufacturer's heyday in WRC, ad the arrival of a new model. This one, the Prodrive P25, echoes the legendary Subaru Impreza World Rally Car, which made its WRC debut in 1997, 25 years ago. Subaru has won six world titles in its history, three Manufacturers' crowns (1995, 1996, 1997) and Drivers with Colin McRae (1995), Richard Burns (2001) and Petter Solberg (2003). “The Prodrive P25 recaptures the essence of this Impreza WRC, while drawing inspiration from the 22B, perhaps the most emblematic Impreza,” announces Prodrive.
Modern technology ensures the P25 is more powerful, lighter and with better handling.
The P25 will be produced in a limited run of just 25 cars, all built at our headquarters in the UK and will make its debut at the @fosgoodwood in June.

David Richards' structure will bring the legend up to date by integrating the latest technologies, making it more powerful, lighter and more manageable. The Prodrive P25 will be powered by a 4 liter Flat 2.5 with more than 400 horsepower and will be equipped with a six-speed semi-automatic gearbox with paddle shifters. Not to deny the heritage of the legendary Subaru Impreza WRC, historic designer Peter Stevens was responsible for the lines of the P25, while its engineering was entrusted to Prodrive's technical director, David Lapworth, responsible for the Impreza. Original WRC.
“The original Impreza 22B is considered the most iconic Subaru, it is highly coveted,” explains David Richards. We wanted to enhance everything that made this car so special, incorporating the most innovative technologies, to create our own modern interpretation of a car already in the motorsport history books. » Unfortunately, few of the lucky ones will be able to benefit from it. In fact, only 25 examples of the P25 will be built at Prodrive's British premises in Banbury. The P25 should make its debut at the legendary Goodwood Festival of Speed (June 23-26).
