Back to the World Rally Championship calendar (WRC) Of the Rally of the Acropolis (Greece) in 2021 was not a flash in the pan. the legendary meeting (it was part of the first edition of the World Championship in 1973) once again offers 16 specials from Thursday 8 to Sunday 11 September 2022.

Compared to the 2021 version, the organizers of the “Rally of the Gods” have established a return to the Olympic stadium in Athens for an opening super-special, as was already the case in 2005 and 2006.

For the rest of the program, the passages usually traced in the north of the country, in the Loutraki region, are included. Tarzan and Pyrgos have been brought forward one day to Saturday while a new special stage, Perivoli, will be contested twice during this second stage.

Finally, the final Sunday day will be brief, with only three special stages for a total of around forty kilometers.
