Which site for the 2010 Rally of France?

Le rally Limousin region, third round of the French championship, begins this evening in Limoges. For Alain Tisseuil and Jean-Michel Filloux, the two co-organizers, this 43rd edition serves as a dress rehearsal before the official candidacy to represent France in 2010. Like several other committees, Limousin should submit its application on June 30 at the FFSA.

“The local authorities are following us,” explains Alain Tisseuil, “but we still have to find the additional budget. The objective is to organize the Rallye de France in Limoges with 60% public subsidies and 40% money from the private sector. »

If the Tour de Corse remains the reference event to represent France in the calendar WRC 2010, a call for applications was launched to the Committees at the start of the year by the French Federation.
Several applications are starting to emerge in the Burgundy (around Dijon), Lorraine, Center and Provence Côte d'Azur regions.

In PACA, two projects exist with the Antibes rally which would benefit from the absence of Monte Carlo and a brand new event created for the occasion between Avignon and Toulon.

The name of the successful application will be revealed during the FFSA Steering Committee in October.
