Quesnel: “Loeb is a Citroën driver”

Asked about the case of Sébastien Loeb, who declared himself interested in Formula 1, Olivier Quesnel insisted on RMC that the Frenchman should especially concentrate on the WRC.

Olivier Quesnel, Sébastien Loeb en Formula 1 instead of Sébastien Bourdais, it's possible ?
I think that what was written in a sports daily does not really correspond to what Sébastien Loeb said. Seb is above all a pilot of rally. What's more, it's not in his nature to want to take someone else's place. It’s clear that F1 tickles him. But to say that he wants Bourdais? place is an illusion.

Do you think that Red Bull could attract Sébastien Loeb to F1?
Seb is a Citroën driver before a Red Bull driver. He is in contract with us and nothing can be done without our approval. If, through this, Red Bull is looking to create media buzz, why not. But I don't want that to disrupt Seb in his two objectives: the drivers' championship and the manufacturers' championship. Especially since we are in the process of signing with Citroën for 2010.

See him behind the wheel of an F1 during a Grand Prix, after the end of the season WRC, is possible ?
At the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the rally season will be over and I wish us to be champions, drivers and manufacturers. If Red Bull offers Seb (Loeb, editor's note) the wheel for a one shot, why not. We must be careful that this is not a poisoned chalice. I don't want Sébastien Loeb to make a fool of himself in the Grand Prix at the wheel of a Toro Rosso. If Toro Rosso occupy the penultimate and last row, there is definitely a reason.
