Rally Sweden – Esapekka Lappi fastest in the shakedown, Adrien Fourmaux 2nd

Ranking Rally of Sweden 2024 – Shakedown:
- The shakedown for the 2024 Rally Sweden took place this Thursday, February 15 in the morning. The outside temperature of 0 degrees left Finnish Esapekka Lappi (Hyundai), who set the best time during his fourth pass.
- On an event that he had not contested in 2023, Adrien fourmaux (M-Sport Ford) showed his ability to adapt by achieving the second best time.
- For his first start in a round WRC in 2024, the two-time incumbent champion Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota) recorded the fourth fastest time, behind the winner of the 2023 Rally Sweden, Ott Tänak (Hyundai) and ahead of the winner of Monte-Carlo last January, Thierry Neuville (Hyundai).
- In WRC2, Oliver Solberg (Skoda) and Georg Linnamäe (Toyota) performed the best.
- The Rally Sweden will begin this Thursday evening with a short 5,16 km special at 19:05 p.m. mainland France time.
