Ranking Rally of Sweden 2024 – SS1:

  • The 2024 Rally Sweden, the only event contested on snow of the World Rally Championship season (WRC) opened this Thursday, February 15 with a short 5 km special around the Umea service park.
  • Benefiting from a very advantageous starting position thanks to his absence during the previous round at Monte-Carlo, Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota) made the powder speak. The Finn set the best time during a SS which did not trap any of the favorites for victory.

  • Author of the second fastest time during the shakedown earlier in the day, Adrien fourmaux (M-Sport Ford) comes away with the 5th best time, ahead of the championship leader, Thierry Neuville (Hyundai).
  • In WRC2, the Swede Oliver Solberg (Skoda) was the fastest.
  • The first stage will begin Friday morning shortly before 9 a.m. and will be followed in live text on AUTOhebdo.fr.
