Return to normal in Finland

Being unable to receive spectators in 2020, AKK, the Finnish motorsport federation, preferred to cancel its event. Last year, the event took place, but it was run very late in the season. Indeed, for the first time in its history, Finland hosted the WRC in October. Not taking place during the holidays, this had an impact on attendance, but on the other hand it also offered beautiful images with superb autumnal colors.

All that is forgotten this year with a return to a more classic period. Fans will once again be allowed to gather around the podium and they will be able to take advantage of the activities put in place by the organization. Stands have been set up, children will have access to different workshops and the service park will return to its usual excitement.

Activities are planned for young audiences

De manière surprenante, c’est Skoda et non Toyota qui est le plus présent dans l’enceinte de l’épreuve avec une structure sur laquelle trône la nouvelle Fabia RS Rally2 dont l’homologation est en cours.

Former glories are never forgotten in Finland and this year the Hall of Fame welcomes Cesare Fiorio and Miki Biasion. The first special which will take place this evening from 18:08 p.m. in Jyväskylä will kick off this 71e edition.
