Robert Kubica will change his approach

From the rally Monte-Carlo in January, the new darling of the plateau WRC had laid the groundwork for the start of the year. Very fast, leading the race, Kubica was trapped and had to abandon the road. A bad habit which has not left him since the start of the season, since the 29-year-old Pole has only seen the finish line once in Sweden, a rally where he also left for the mistake.

?On land, I have to think more about survival and getting to the finish, instead of trying to be as fast as possible, declares the former pilot F1. There are too many variables and surprises that can trap inexperienced pilots. That's why I think it wouldn't hurt to go back a little. » Implied, returning to a more conservative approach, as was the case at the start of his rally career.

“It's true that I haven't had the luckiest start to the season, but I think things will get better. The most important thing is that I make the most of this experience and that I learn. I'm sure better times will come. I'm driving one of the best cars in the championship, alongside the best rally drivers in the world and in conditions I've never experienced before. This is the highest level and I have to remember that. » concludes Kubica.

The Argentina rally will take place this weekend, an event where Citroën remains on nine consecutive wins in the WRC, including eight with Sébastien Loeb. (Juho Hänninen won the race in 2010 when registered in IRC)
