Sébastien Loeb maintains the advantage

Despite his opening position on the last stage, Sébastien Loeb remains leader of the Rally Finland. The Citroën driver has a lead of around ten seconds over his teammate Sébastien Ogier.

Sébastien Loeb maintains the advantage

Sébastien Ogier although he slowed down in the second stage to let Sébastien Loeb opening the road today, the Frenchman is unable to gain the upper hand over the seven-time World Champion who managed to increase his lead to 10??8 at the end of the five special stages of the morning. “It was a perfect morning. I couldn't go any faster.", explains the World Champion.

Jari-Matti Latvala admits that he cannot keep up with the pace of the Citroën drivers. The Flying Finn remains in third position, 9?2 from second place (20 seconds from the head of the race). The Ford driver still has a comfortable lead over Petter Solberg (Citroën), who is 52 seconds behind the Finn.

The Norwegian is now under threat from Mads Ostberg who is 15??1 from fourth place. The Ford driver is himself pursued by Mikko Hirvonen (Ford), author of new scratches this morning. The Finn is only 6?1 from fifth place. Dani Sordo places the first Mini in seventh position.
