The nine-time champion has demonstrated that he is still capable of winning in Monte-Carlo and has not closed the door to other appearances this year.

How do you feel after this victory?

It makes me extremely happy to win the Monte-Carlo. It's an incredible feeling. This is more than we could have hoped for. I didn't really know what to expect when I came. I had a good feeling with the car, but from there to being in the race… I couldn't really place myself. What I especially didn't want was to be dumped like during my last outings in WRC.
