The world champion dominated the testing session this Thursday morning at the wheel of his Volkswagen Polo R WRC.

Sébastien Ogier dominates Polish shakedown

On the 3,38 km serving as the stage for the shakedown of the Rally from Poland, Sébastien Ogier was the fastest this morning by establishing a reference time in 1'36 "3. The three-time reigning world champion precedes his teammate Andreas Mikkelsen by just a tenth, while the three Hyundai i20 Thierry Neuville, Hayden Paddon and Dani Sordo follow in the standings within half a second.

Jari-Matti Latvala places his Polo R in sixth position ahead Ott Tänak (Ford Fiesta) Mads Ostberg (Ford Fiesta) and the two DS3s of Craig Breen and Stéphane Lefebvre. In WRC-2, the best time went to the Skoda Fabia R5 of Finn Teemu Suninen in front of the sister cars of Pontus Tidemand and Nicolas Fuchs.

The shakedown was marked by the impressive series of rolls from Martin Koci, entered in the Junior WRC. The crew was treated by doctors after leaving the road. The Mikolajki super-special will take place this evening from 19:08 p.m.
