Sébastien Ogier cautious before the resumption in Estonia

Almost six months after the last round, the WRC will resume its rights at the start of September (4-6) in Estonia. The opportunity for Sébastien Ogier to discover this event even if he had the opportunity to test in the Baltic country at the beginning of the month.

"I 'I was on an extremely fast road and was told that it was mostly like that in Estonia. I hope to find such sections during the rally. It's funny. Sure, this car is still fun to drive on very fast roads, but it's not often that you're at full throttle more than 75 percent of the time. Speeds are very high and there is still no room for error ».

Despite this preparation on Estonian soil before the big meeting, Sébastien Ogier knows that it will be difficult to beat the local of the event and reigning world champion Ott Tänak.

« Everyone knows he will be the reference here, says the Gapençais who will not let it happen. I think everyone’s goal will be to try to follow him and fight with him if we can.”

And to achieve this, the Habs hope to receive a little helping hand from Mother Nature. “ Let's also wait to see what type of conditions we will have in early September. We all know that opening the road is difficult sometimes, so let's hope the weather helps us so we're not at too much of a disadvantage, then we'll see what we can do ».

Before tackling the Estonian round, Sébastien Ogier will have one last chance to make his mark on enemy territory. The pilot Toyota will participate in the Louna-Eesti rally, in the southeast of the country.
