Sébastien Ogier: A happy ending

Winner at the end of the suspense in Sweden, the double world champion did not hide his joy at the end of the Power Stage.

Perfect score for Sébastien Ogier in Sweden. Final victory and best time in the Power Stage, the Frenchman leaves Scandinavia with a consolidated lead in the World Championship. “What a victory, honestly. indicates the Frenchman at the stop point of the Power Stage. I'm really, really proud of this one. I was fast all weekend, but my starting position was not good. It’s a happy ending.”

After making a mistake in the same special stage (SS9) as Latvala, the Frenchman began a chase face à son équipier Andreas Mikkelsen et la Hyundai i20 Thierry Neuville, to begin the last stage in a three-way match which promised a lot. His scratch in the final ES, combined with Andreas Mikkelsen's error finally gave him his 26th victory in WRC.
