Petter Solberg did not hide his financing problems to complete the 2011 season of WRC. “We knew we couldn’t do this event.”, explains the 2003 world champion. “We didn’t have enough funds and the decision was made. But after my retirement in Spain, we decided to keep the car and not compete in the superally to be present here. Sometimes you have to know how to say stop and I thought we had reached that point. We will now have to attack, it will be an interesting rally with these conditions. »

The start of Wales Rally GB will be given at 15:38 p.m. with the Greta Orme super special (4,74km), which will be covered twice before the Clocaenog route (15,77km) which will conclude this first stage of an event which will include exceptionally four.
