Solberg on the verge of giving in the lead

Sébastien Ogier takes advantage of his advantageous position on the road to gain the upper hand over his opponents. The Citroën driver scored the three stage wins of the morning and has a lead of 9?6 over his teammate Sébastien Loeb. " Everything is fine. We had a great morning, almost perfect. I am satisfied ", comments Sébastien Ogier.

The Frenchman can be all the more satisfied that Petter Solberg is within his reach. The Norwegian, who had almost a minute's lead at the start of the second stage, is now only 5??4 behind the DS3 WRC French. His position as opener on the road seems to greatly destabilize him.

Mikko Hirvonen is the only Ford driver still fighting at the front, after bad luck continued to dog his teammate Jari-Matti Latvala. The first Flying Finn is still fourth, 8?8 behind the third position occupied by the seven-time World Champion.

The crews will complete a second route on the special stages taken this morning. Petter Solberg will open the road for SS10 at 15:20 p.m.
