Sordo confirmed with Hyundai at Rally Mexico

Hyundai Motorsport has confirmed its crews for the Rally of Mexico scheduled for the weekend of March 15. Unsurprisingly, the Korean manufacturer will trust Dani Sordo and his co-driver Carlos del Barrio to evolve alongside Neuville-Gilsoul and Thank you-Järveoja.

Dani Sordo is indeed a very experienced driver on this gravel rally having already competed in it ten times, with a second place acquired in 2018 as his best result. Last year, the Spaniard took advantage of his good position on the road to move to the front until he encountered a mechanical problem condemning him to 9th place. He could benefit from it again this year, but he has not taken the wheel of his car in competition since the Rally of Catalonia last October.
