Sordo and Breen will share the 2021 Hyundai

The 2020 season has barely ended, Hyundai is already thinking about the next one. And for good reason. With just over a month to go before the start of the 2021 World Rally Championship campaign in Monte Carlo, the Korean team has announced the drivers for its third i20 Coupe WRC.

Already confirmed, Ott Tänak et Thierry Neuville will be supported by Dani Sordo and Craig Been in 2021. The Spaniard and the Irishman will participate in different rounds of next season, taking turns sharing the third car entered by Hyundai.

In 2020, the two men played an important role in the constructors' title won by the Korean team. Dani Sordo won the Rally from Sardinia in particular while Craig Breen reached the podium in Estonia.

« We are delighted to confirm that Dani and Craig will be behind the wheel of the third Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC alongside our already announced drivers Thierry and Ott, rejoices Andrea Adamo, Team Principal. All demonstrated their speed and commitment last year with victories and podiums which helped us in the fight for the title. Our crew is the perfect mix of experience and thirst to win, ideal for our hopes of final victory ».
