For his return to the premier category, Adrien fourmaux (M-Sport) aurait sans doute aimé démarrer le Rally of Ypres in another way. Seventh overall after the first two stages, the Frenchman lost control of his Ford Fiesta at the 23rd kilometer of SS3. Result ? Violent exit from the road ended in the ditch and a compromised aftermath.

If they go well, Adrien Fourmaux and his co-driver Renaud Jamoul will not be able to finish this first day of the Ypres Rally. The two men could even give up on the rest of the weekend. Once back at the service park, the crew and M-Sport are expected to make a final decision.
