Stéphane Lefebvre with the new Ford Fiesta at Condroz

Entered the list of winners of the famous Rally du Condroz last year with a Citroën C3 R5, the Frenchman Stéphane Lefebvre will have the opportunity to aim for the pass of two in 2019, from November 1st to 3rd.

The former official Citroën driver will this time be aligned with the new Ford Fiesta R5 MKII développée par M-Sport. For his fifth participation, Lefebvre will benefit from the support of the MyHub structure, which allows customer drivers to evolve with the very latest cars in the R5 category at attractive costs.

“I am very happy to have the opportunity to defend my victory in the Rallye du Condroz-Huy, admits Lefebvre. This rally has always been special to me. When I was younger, I remember seeing Patrick Snijers and the Ford Escort GrA on the stages with my father.

Starting this rally with a Ford will therefore be a very special moment for me. I'm very excited to experience this new car and do the best job possible. »

The native of Noeux-les-Mines will have to face the regulars of the event, such as Kris Princen (Skoda Fabia R5). Lefebvre will also meet his compatriot Pierre-Louis Loubet, entered in a Skoda Fabia R5.

The Northerner will try to bring back a victory to the Ford clan, which has been waiting for the top step of the podium at Condroz since 2012 and success with the Focus WRC by Bernd Casier. In the event of a double, Lefebvre would also be the first to achieve this performance since Peter Tsjoen in 2008 and 2009… with a Ford Focus.
